This club feels very light in the hands,but well balanced.It sits very square behind the ball and you feel as if you can get after the ball and really hit it.Sound at impact is sweet and metallic and the ball soars off on a nice high trajectory and with fine carry distance,even for a relatively strong 14 degree loft (most 3 woods are 15 or 16 degrees in loft).
Mishits are not punished too harshly,although shots off the heel struggle to get any great yardage.This club performs excellently from rough even though it feels light and the deep face prevents pop up shots from balls that sit up on grassy lies (you know the ones that leave those nasty skymarks on the crown of the club!).
Because of it’s strong loft it makes a fine alternative to the driver on tight par 4′s and 5′s and those 200 yard plus par 3′s which sadly are becoming all too popular on many modern tracks.
There are no problems hitting shaped shots for the low handicapper and an added bonus is that this club can also easily perform the little chip shot around the green (the ones the pros often play).Overall very impressive. 9 out of 10.
