Congratulations Bubba on winning the US Masters. As final rounds go, this years Masters was right up there for excitement and great golf. Louis Oosthuizen made only the 4th ever Albatros in Masters history on the 2nd hole, there were 2 final round hole in ones on 16, and how about Bubba's 35 metre hook shot with gap wedge to win the playoff.
As can be seen on the PGA Tour website, with his Masters victory, Bubba will:
• Earn 600 FedExCup points to move to No. 2 in the standings
• Earns his fourth TOUR title in his last 39 starts after going 0-for-121 to begin his career.
• Pick up the fifth Masters victory for lefty golfers in the last decade (Watson, Mike Weir and Phil Mickelson-3).
• Improve his career playoff record to 3-1. He won the 2012 Masters, 2011 Zurich Classic of New Orleans and 2010 Travelers Championship and lost the 2010 PGA Championship in playoffs.
He will also receive a 10 year PGA Tour exemption setting him up for a bright future.
